COVID-19

The wellbeing of you and your pets remains our highest priority.   We want to inform you of updates to our protocols in light of the recent developments surrounding COVID-19.  Veterinary medicine is listed as a Critical Sector in the Governor’s Executive Order 20-20. All Paws Animal Hospital will remain open to provide the essential service of health care to your pet. We are fully prepared to continue the highest level of care for your pets as well as protect our valued employees.

Pursuant to Governor Walz’s Executive Order 20-09: All Paws has inventoried and set aside human hospital accepted PPE to donate when indicated.  We will use reusable PPE or human hospital unaccepted PPE (latex gloves) for our surgical and dentistry patients so that these procedures will continue to be performed.

For the foreseeable future we will begin curbside check in only for your pets. Exams will be done in hospital while you wait in your vehicle.  When you arrive at the clinic please CALL us (952-848-0913) to discuss your pet’s clinical situation and history.  After speaking with you on the phone, a staff member will come out to your vehicle to receive the patient.  For dogs: please bring your pet out of the vehicle with your leash and collar in place, we will hand you two additional slip leads to place on your dog then our staff member will bring the dog into the clinic. Some dogs may require you to bring them into the clinic then you will return to your vehicle.  For cats and small dogs in carriers: please set your carrier out of your car when the staff member comes out to your vehicle.  ALL cats MUST be in a carrier.   A staff member or veterinarian will call you with the diagnostic and treatment plan after your pet’s examination.  Payment will be taken over the phone or you may send it in with the staff member assisting you.  We may request you come into the clinic for consultation about your pet if indicated.  Our exam rooms afford appropriate social distancing between our staff and our clients if consultation in hospital is indicated.  Our lobby area affords appropriate social distancing for four separate groups with their pets.

You may come into the clinic to pick up pharmacy and diet items or you may call us from your vehicle with payment and we will bring the items to you.

Please respect our staff and maintain 6 feet social distance except for direct exchange of check in/out material or pharmacy items.  (Tape is placed on the floor as a guide at reception)

We will continue to follow the CDC & MN Department of Health recommendations for covid-19 prevention.

If you have questions or are uncertain about bringing your pet into All Paws please call 952-848-0913 and we will do our best to assist you.
