Jessie, Lead Certified Veterinary Technician

My name is Jessie, and I am a Certified Veterinary Technician and the Lead Technician here at All Paws. I have a bachelor’s degree in biology from Gustavus Adolphus College and before working at All Paws I worked in human medicine. I quickly realized that my true calling was to work with animals, and I decided to go back to school to become a certified veterinary technician. In 2012 I received my license and became a full-time technician at All Paws, and later was promoted to lead technician.

I have 3 pets at home; Phinneas the Olde English Bulldog, Cujo the St. Bernard, and a cute rabbit named Joy. My husband and I are passionate about our fur babies, hiking, snuggling with our pups, and traveling to watch our favorite hockey team which is the San Jose Sharks. I also love reading, fishing, trying out new foods, and traveling as much as I can.

I love working at All Paws because everyone here is so eager to learn and grow, and we are always continuing to learn the newest and best practices for our patients. We have wonderful relationships with our clients and treat our patients like they are members of our own family.

A fun fact about me is that I am right-handed, but ride horses and open locks left-handed!
