Wyatt, Veterinary Assistant & Patient Care Coordinator
I am a graduate of the University of Minnesota, earning my Bachelors of Science in Animal Science in May of 2025. I have been a veterinary assistant for over 8 years, with my first job being in my hometown while in high school. I have a passion for animal welfare and enjoy exploring how that intersects with my different experiences in animal healthcare and research. Prior to that, I raised many generations of rabbits for 4-H which kickstarted my love for the field.
I currently reside in a St. Louis Park home with 4 wonderful roommates. All recent college graduates, we are traversing this quickly changing world with the support of two cats: One brown tabby & white female named Smudge, and one gray tabby male named Sirius. No, the cats are not friends, unfortunately.
I love being in vet medicine because, at the end of the day, it’s all for the love of pets. I prefer to spend time in settings with animals, even those dealing with sickness and loss. It makes restoring vitality and quality of life all the more meaningful.
Fun fact: In 2024, I studied abroad all across Greece! Yassou!
