Baylee, Certified Veterinary Technician

I joined veterinary medicine as a veterinary assistant in 2018 after achieving a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from the University of Minnesota. After observing the incredible work veterinary technicians do, I opted to pursue the route of becoming a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT). I achieved an Associate of Applied Science degree in Veterinary Technology from Penn Foster College in May 2024 and became certified in the state of Minnesota in August 2024. Working with animals has always been a dream of mine.

In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with friends, exploring nature, and simply being outside. I’m an avid bowler and play softball during the warmer months of the year. I have one pet, a green cheek conure named Jazz, who has a personality ten times larger than herself!  

I love working in veterinary medicine because it allows me to provide medical care to the pets most consider family whether they’re furry, feathered, or scaly. Aiding in providing the best standard of care possible is important to me. 

My major interests in veterinary medicine include anesthesia, radiology, and dentistry.
