Dr. Matt Kruse, DVM

My name is Dr. Kruse, and I am a Full Time Veterinarian here at All Paws. I graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. I started practicing small animal medicine and spent time at Cedar View Animal Hospital in Apple Valley Minnesota, Flying Cloud Animal Hospital in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, and Burnsville Parkway Animal Hospital in Burnsville, Minnesota. I was the owner of Burnsville for 18 years before selling my practice in 2020. After that I was a Regional Medical Director for a corporate group for 3 years and eventually made my way back to clinical practice at All Paws Animal Hospital in November of 2023.

My wife, Heather, and I live in Edina with our three children, Drew, Nina and Alexa. We share our home with a long-haired Dachshund cross named George and a heeler cross named Coco. I enjoy golfing, boating, watching my kid’s sports and dance teams, and traveling.

My “why” is that I love veterinary medicine and want to provide the best care for my clients and patients. I also enjoy mentorship and helping young veterinarians and staff achieve their potential and watching them grow in their relationships with clients and staff.
